Shipping & Delivery Policy
Every order from The Cedar Mill is delivered by our own team, direct from our yard near Welshpool, Powys. We don't use couriers, so your timber is handled by the people who milled it, from our yard to your door.
Where we deliver
We deliver to addresses in mainland UK. If you're outside mainland UK, including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Isles, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, please get in touch before ordering so we can talk through delivery options.
Delivery charges
The delivery charge depends on how far your delivery address is from our yard near Welshpool (SY21 9BD). Deliveries within 100 miles need a minimum order of £150.

Your delivery charge is worked out automatically at checkout when you enter your postcode. All prices include VAT.
Order under £150 and within 100 miles? You're welcome to collect from our yard, or contact us and we'll see what we can do.
How long delivery takes
Our cladding and many of our timber products are milled to order, so they are usually delivered within 7 to 14 working days of your order, including deliveries over 100 miles. We'll contact you to arrange a delivery day that suits you. If you're working to a deadline, please call or email us before you order and we'll do our best to help.
Access to your property
Larger orders are delivered on a pallet by our 7.5-tonne truck. Please make sure there is suitable access for a vehicle of this size and a safe, level place to unload. If access is tight, such as a narrow lane, a steep drive or low bridges, please tell us when you order so we can plan the right delivery.
If we can't deliver because of access problems we weren't told about, or because nobody is available at the agreed time, we may need to charge for a second delivery.
When your order arrives
Please check your delivery when it arrives and tell our driver about any visible damage before signing. Then email photos to info@thecedarmill.co.uk within 48 hours. This doesn't affect your statutory rights. See our Refund Policy for more on returns.
Collection from our yard
You're welcome to collect your order from our yard near Welshpool, Powys, SY21 9BD, free of charge. Please contact us to arrange a collection time once your order is ready.
